- Membre correspondant de l’Académie Internationale d’Histoire des Sciences.

- Membre grec de la Commission Internationale d’Histoire des Mathématiques.

La thématique générale de ma recherche s’inscrit dans l’axe de recherche « histoire sociale et culturelle des savoirs mathématiques » et dans le projet collaboratif de recherche interdisciplinaire soutenu par le labex HASTEC, intitulé « Séries de problèmes, un genre au carrefour des cultures ». En particulier, mes recherches les plus récentes concernent les mathématiques de Diophante d’Alexandrie et la tradition diophantienne pendant l’antiquité tardive et l’époque byzantine ; les commentaires mathématiques de l’antiquité tardive et l’époque byzantine ; et l’historiographie de l’algèbre. Dans le cadre de ces recherches j’ai une collaboration durable et productive avec Alain Bernard (Université Paris-Est Créteil). Ma dernière publication, en collaboration avec Jeffrey Oaks (prof. à l’Université d’Indianapolis), est une traduction complète en anglais des Arithmétiques de Diophante d’Alexandrie, accompagnée d’un commentaire conceptuel, historique et mathématique détaillé.
