Hanna Gentili is a PhD Candidate at the Warburg Institute (School of Advanced Study, University of London). Her PhD research examines the reception of Peripatetic sources in the work of Yohanan Alemanno (c.1435 - c.1504) and its relationship with the philosophical debates of early modern Italy.

Prior to her PhD she received an MA (summa cum laude) in Philosophy and Forms of Knowledge at the University of Pisa.
